Website Updates and Future Plans

Hi, everyone!

I know I haven’t posted anything here in a while. There are several reasons for that, but I won’t go into all of them today. Instead, I’d like to share a few updates about the website and some of my plans for the future.

A New Domain Registrar

First, as of today, October 15, 2026, I have officially transferred my domain from Namecheap to Porkbun.

I’ve had a positive experience with Porkbun, particularly when it comes to accessibility. Their services are also significantly cheaper, even with the upcoming increases in .com domain prices.

This change won’t affect visitors to the website, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Potential Changes to the Website

The second update concerns a change that hasn’t happened yet, but is becoming increasingly likely.

If you read my first post about WordPress back in March 2026, you may remember that I was initially quite happy with it. Unfortunately, my experience with WordPress, particularly its block editor, has become considerably less favorable over time.

Because of this, I’m seriously considering moving away from WordPress and returning to a static website.

For now, I don’t really need many of the dynamic features that WordPress provides. A static website would be simpler to maintain and would give me more control over how everything works.

I may eventually introduce dynamic features, such as the user account system I discussed in my earlier post. If and when those features become necessary, I can reconsider the technology behind the site.

Nothing is finalized yet, but a return to a static website is looking increasingly likely.

Future Game Development Projects

Finally, I want to share a little about my plans for game development.

Yes, I am considering getting back into game development, and I already have several ideas for games that I’ve wanted to create for quite some time. While I haven’t officially started developing any of these projects yet, I have begun thinking through some of the ideas and planning what I would like to accomplish.

One thing that could make development easier is the use of agentic AI tools. With AI assisting in the coding process, I may be able to develop games more quickly than I could on my own. However, that doesn’t eliminate the considerable amount of work involved in creating a game.

There are still many things to consider, including purchasing sound libraries and music, designing gameplay systems, writing and reviewing code, and conducting extensive quality assurance testing.

I also want to make one thing very clear: please don’t take this as an announcement that a new game is coming soon. I don’t expect to release anything this year, and it’s entirely possible that nothing will be ready next year either.

For now, these are simply ideas and early plans, not confirmed projects or release announcements.

So yes, stay tuned! I hope to have more to share eventually, but I don’t want anyone getting their hopes up for something that is still very much in the planning stages.

Closing Thoughts

That’s everything I have to share for now. Although the website has been quiet recently, that doesn’t mean I’ve abandoned it.

Thanks for reading, and I hope to have more updates to share in the future!
